Port Lympne Reserve has a lot to offer guests in terms of activities, food and accommodation (and obviously wildlife!). They host all sorts of parties from hen dos to Christmas parties and weddings. Having been on a hen do there a couple of years ago with my closest friends, I can only describe glamping at the Elephant Lodge as an unforgettable experience! It was really surreal waking up in the morning, stepping outside our tent (which was really homely with real furniture and a log burning fire!) and seeing elephants right in front of you. You can go on a bus tour around the park and have afternoon tea at the mansion so there’s lots of ways to make your weekend special.
When Sam and Bazil got in touch with Matt about INSTABOX I was really looking forward to going back and taking the photobooth to its first zoo wedding! Port Lympne Hotel, where the wedding took place, is right next to the rhino enclosure which is pretty unique! Amidst the beautiful weather we were having in July we didn’t expect the torrential rain that poured down that evening. We were soaked, guests were soaked but this didn’t put a dampener on the party, there were so many happy guests who couldn’t wait to get their photo taken! As we always say, smiling and laughing really is infectious!
